• Self-Checkout, Checkout Desk: ceiling or wall-mounted signs that are perpendicular to the wall and can be seen from the General Reference Desk.
• Library Card people purposefully walk past the Checkout desk when searching for a new library card
• Staff Elevator: to replace the current sign at the staff elevator.
• Ask Here: change the sign above the General Reference Desk to say this.
• Staff Only, Please -Do Not Enter-: On the two staff-only areas off the great hall (dock doors and doors to lower levels) [I'd say "Staff Only, Please," but that's just me. -Lynn Touché!]
• Returns: Change wording from "Book Return" to "Returns" or "Material Returns" (We do get questions about it.)
• There are two sets of exit signs in the parking garage that contradict each other. The actual exit signs painted on the concrete lead to the ramp. The exit signs that hang from the ceiling are actually for pedestrian emergency exits, but if you follow them in your car, they lead you to a dead end.
